Prof. J.S. Virdi completed his PhD and postdoctoral studies from Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. He is currently Professor of Microbial Genomics & AMR Diagnostics at University of Delhi South Campus, a premier University of India. He has published more than 60 papers and has served as an editorial board member of Gut Pathogens. Currently, his lab is focused on developing a genomics and microfluidics based point of care (POC) device for rapid detection of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) under BIRAC (India)-Nesta (UK) Discovery Awards funding.

Abdulrahman AL-Sultan has completed his PhD and M.Sc at age of 35 years from the University of Edinburgh, college of medicine in Scotland, UK. He is the vice dean for the academic affairs of the college of medicine at King Faisal University. He has 2 patents of method of identifying MDR Acinetobacter baumannii in diabetes. He has published more than 21 papers in impact factors journals. He has identified 4 new genes in carbapenem resistant.

Dr. Abdul Matin received his PhD from University of London followed by a Postdoctoral Fellowship from School of Medicine, Southampton University Hospital, Southampton, United Kingdom.
